Osmosis and diffusion please help!?

Carrot cell will SWELL up (Hypotonic) because water suspending the carrot cells moves to where there is high concentration of solute. The solute in this case is sugar (corn Syrup) which water will follow so then the cells will take it in. And the liquid will decrese in the gl if cells take it all in.
