Boyfriend broke up with me (very rudely) so I...?

...gathered all his stuff in a bed and left it on his front porch in the middle of the night? Did this come across as rude, funny, a big F.U., sad? I really didn't want him to have any reasons to call me and either be rude to me again or try to get back with me cause his new girl didn't work out or something. Thoughts?
