Possible Shock? Stroke?

Yesterday, my sister got into a fight with her boyfriend. He pinned her down and pretty much just slapped her and held her down. (He is in jail now, needless to say) ACCORDING TO HIM, she ped out and went limp and started gasping for air. She appeared unconscious but still had a pulse and he did mouth to mouth and chest compressions to get her to breath. When she woke up, she was coughing up phlegm, extremely confused and gradually "came to," but still does not remember the incident. The paramedics said her blood pressure was normal but her heart rate was 120 even several minutes later. Don't worry, she won't take him back, she's pressing charges and she is receiving medical treatment. But until they find out what happened, I'm wondering if she went into a medical shock? Does anyone have any helpful links or info about what could've happened to her? I'm extremely worried. And doctors are still running tests, and she appears fine now. Could this have been shock? Stroke?
