Fireball; Colossians 2:16 Shows Gentile Christians Kept the Holy Days and Sabbaths?
The sabbath specified the particular day that one could not work(for personal gain). The article however seems to define that day as one of partying and having fun, as proof to the day in which there was to be no work(for personal gain); but this thing is unnecessary to the command of rest on the Sabbath. In addition, the article's ysis of Colossians 2:16 is flawed; Paul was telling them that they should _not_ devote themselves to the honoring of the traditions of men, but to the body of Christ. Thus the article confuses the entire issue in order to support its bias of pleasing God through the personal fulfillment of the law.
