Married filing jointly or separately?

I got married this year and we're filing taxes for the first time as married. I make around $60,000 and he makes around $115,000. Should we file jointly or separately? According to the 2009 tax brackets (http://www.bargaineering.com/articles/2009-federal-income-tax-brackets-projected.html) I'm in the 25% bracket and he's in the 28% bracket but jointly we would be in the 28%, so does that mean we should file separately? We did buy a townhouse in June so we paid 6 months of mortgage payments in 2009, and I bought a car.
