How do I quit my job abruptly but not rudely?

Because I was in a desperate financial situation I accepted a job I was very overqualified for, for barely above minimum wage. Because I have a very strong work ethic I did my best at it and very recently got promoted but am still making at most 9 dollars an hour and I have to ride my bike at 3 in the morning for 6 miles to get there. I just got offered an interview for a much better and more convenient job for higher pay. I live right next to it and if I get hired I want to start immediately. I would have to quit the job I currently have but since I just got hired and I'm already the favorite of the managers I feel really bad about it. How do I quit abruptly but in a way that minimizes the fallout from me leaving? I can't do two weeks because my manager can be hing when he's mad which he will be?
